There's three definitions. Descendants of the tribe of Judah, citizens of the Roman province of Judea, and descendants of mixed-race Edomites that developed the Talmud. Jesus falls into the first and second categories, but not the third (which accounts for 100% of modern Jews)

I think that Christianity is like communism in the sense that it's *not Judaism*, but it can be used to great effect by Jews. Depending on who you ask, it was also created by them.
