That's not real accelerationist ofvyou

2019-11-26 07:28:42 UTC

I'm not an accelerationist

2019-11-26 07:29:05 UTC

There's no need to accelerate really

2019-11-26 07:45:44 UTC

What Laure said is true

2019-11-26 07:45:54 UTC

30 years tops

2019-11-26 07:53:41 UTC

That’s why I’m tryna become well versed in the outdoors and survivalism

2019-11-26 07:54:08 UTC

Literally why I joined this group lol, it had outdoors in the tags

2019-11-26 07:54:14 UTC

What are your guys plans

2019-11-26 08:08:54 UTC

@HoChiScreamin whatz your current experience level?

2019-11-26 08:16:15 UTC

Minimal. I would say entry level

2019-11-26 08:17:46 UTC

I have some basic equipment and know how. I worked at an outdoors equipment store to get some knowledge, and I’m about to get my first aid certification for the applied knowledge

2019-11-26 08:20:05 UTC

Nice

2019-11-26 08:20:17 UTC

Food, Water, Shelter

2019-11-26 08:25:47 UTC

Yea

2019-11-26 08:25:57 UTC

I’m in BC so water is covered

2019-11-26 08:26:08 UTC

For Food: knife, gun or bow, rope/cordage
Acquiring Water is mostly about knowledge of terrain, learning where youre most likely to find it in your specific area which requires you to explore
And for shelter all you need is a tarp and a way to pitch it

2019-11-26 08:26:11 UTC

I already know how/where to gather it

2019-11-26 08:26:57 UTC

BC is good for berries too yeah?

2019-11-26 08:27:03 UTC

And yea, food will be the thing. I think I actually have a spot

2019-11-26 08:27:12 UTC

Y'all get salmonberries up there?

2019-11-26 08:27:19 UTC

Yea, I got a few books on the berries and fungi of the Pacific Northwest

2019-11-26 08:27:27 UTC

Haven’t studied them enough though

2019-11-26 08:28:32 UTC

Honestly, we used to. I rarely see Berry’s anymore. Starting about ten years ago, there was seemingly a concerted effort to remove berries or natural food sources from remotely populated areas so the homeless would t hang about

2019-11-26 08:28:43 UTC

It sucks we used to get wild strawberries and stuff

2019-11-26 08:28:49 UTC

Thats fucking lame

2019-11-26 08:28:56 UTC

It rly is

2019-11-26 08:29:25 UTC

Just means you gotta go out further

2019-11-26 08:29:37 UTC

Deep into the wilderness

2019-11-26 08:29:46 UTC

Huckleberry used to be in every suburban park, even if they were just like a few lots in size

2019-11-26 08:29:55 UTC

Yea I have a spot I don’t wanna say

2019-11-26 08:29:57 UTC

That being said, berries are a very easy food source

2019-11-26 08:30:19 UTC

So learn to identify them and get comfortable with it

2019-11-26 08:30:34 UTC

Are you a survivalist person

2019-11-26 08:31:21 UTC

Also find any greens that are easy to identify in your area, there should be a few with no poisonous look-a-likes

2019-11-26 08:31:26 UTC

Yeet

2019-11-26 08:31:29 UTC

I am

2019-11-26 08:31:51 UTC

I think we have wild arugula and lettuce idk tho

2019-11-26 08:32:00 UTC

That’s sick where are you?

2019-11-26 08:32:30 UTC

Do y'all have fireweed?

2019-11-26 08:32:35 UTC

I think you should

2019-11-26 08:32:41 UTC

I'm in Michigan
