Answer: Pretty fuggin healthy as it turns out, since most people ate organic food and whole wheat bread.

Not to mention their animals were usually fed better stuff that wasnt just corn and soy

like germanic tribes would feed their pigs birch seeds and bark, which is much closer to their diet in the wild than the slop industrial farms feed them
