Blaming emissions alone is almost criminally misleading, it's the other half of industry that's the real problem.
My question is wtf was going on between 1850-1950 that tropical forests were growing?
The only improvements on that chart
Probably just known data issues Tato. Do you remember when the UN told Brazil to stop shredding it's forests
And then Brazil did exactly nothing?
And Brazil said "Sure, just pay me money equal to what we would lose in industry"
And then UN said "Well you know what it's your Forest, self determination and all that."
Ah darn I was almost right,.
WHO ARE WE TO INTERVENE
The UN did exactly nothing.
Fuck yo forest nigga

Isn't it clever that the climate change debate is so closely controlled that cbina and India aren't held to any additional restrictions or sanctions.
China, the global production bank.
Or that no one can bring up Africa leading the world in pollution significantly by burning actual garbage for power.
Processed fossil fuels can't hold a candle to burning plastics.
Burning fossil fuels isnt half as bad as deforestation+industrial agriculture in terms of CO2 emissions
Two things, that if controlled would be able to actively lower CO2 because the plants that grew from stopping those activities would act as carbon sinks
People genuinely need to eat less beef.
You can take my steak from my cold, dead, hands.
Dude pigs make so much less methane than cows
And goats even.
Yeah we researched this a bit in sustainability when I was in school.
It's crazy how much cows produce
And demand for beef is only going up.
Also the environment soaking up so much of the cost of animal raising had created a wasteful sense of choice in the western public.
There's a ridiculous difference in value between cuts of meat on animals. Inflated beyond intrinsic value.
This reminds me on the topic of unreported truths
@ᚱᛟᛟᛏ everyone in this server has microplastics inside of them.
Everyone in the world does
It's something else cleverly reported as "tomorrows problem"
If I run that game I should clearly have the source of zombies be plastic
wew lad
More wew lad
If only there was any way to correlate zombies and microplastics
