Yeah chemistry is great because all of the answers aren't theoretical.

2019-06-03 13:43:47 UTC

Unless you're making new shit I suppose.

2019-06-03 13:43:50 UTC

Whatever, math is easy as shit, I can't get how people can suck at it

2019-06-03 13:44:08 UTC

I think I'm average at card games.

2019-06-03 13:44:15 UTC

I could do algebra up to II and Geometry fine, it's just when it starts getting into the weird stuff that I fall off.

2019-06-03 13:44:15 UTC

I played a lot of poker in middle school.

2019-06-03 13:44:26 UTC

When it approaches trig and calculus and all that.

2019-06-03 13:44:48 UTC

I think I've failed pre calc like five times

2019-06-03 13:44:50 UTC

I think I could pick up calculus if I had a teacher that spoke English as a first language.

2019-06-03 13:44:51 UTC

>trigonometry
>advanced math

2019-06-03 13:44:52 UTC

...

2019-06-03 13:45:01 UTC

It's the class titles, Laure.

2019-06-03 13:45:06 UTC

They're more than their labels.

2019-06-03 13:45:13 UTC

My calc teacher in college was a fucking Iraqi

2019-06-03 13:45:16 UTC

Oh, I didn't know that

2019-06-03 13:45:19 UTC

Oh man

2019-06-03 13:45:34 UTC

For a comparison I could say that I have failed english, too.

2019-06-03 13:45:34 UTC

No John's, Spooky.

2019-06-03 13:45:39 UTC

I mean, still better than an Acadian

2019-06-03 13:45:43 UTC

Or a Quebecan

2019-06-03 13:45:45 UTC

Woooooow

2019-06-03 13:45:52 UTC

Quebecer*

2019-06-03 13:45:59 UTC

Yeah

2019-06-03 13:46:01 UTC

Or Quebecois if you wanna be French

2019-06-03 13:46:08 UTC

And Acadien if you wanna get that right too.

2019-06-03 13:46:19 UTC

Shiet, I'm a brainlet

2019-06-03 13:46:29 UTC

<:bigbrain:519747550916640769>

2019-06-03 13:46:59 UTC

At least I get straight A's on math

2019-06-03 13:47:41 UTC

That justifies my shitty English skills a bit I guess

2019-06-03 13:48:16 UTC

>Not making 70-80s in all subjects

2019-06-03 13:48:27 UTC

Disappointed.

2019-06-03 13:50:16 UTC

You mean %?

2019-06-03 13:50:32 UTC

Yeah

2019-06-03 13:50:37 UTC

We never used letter grades here

2019-06-03 13:50:42 UTC

Because they're fucking stupid.

2019-06-03 13:50:45 UTC

We don't use letter grades either

2019-06-03 13:52:18 UTC

We use numbers from 1 to 6
Where 6 is the highest grade, some kind of "A+" which is reserved only for having extracurricular knowledge of the subject (at least in theory)

2019-06-03 13:52:34 UTC

Germans use the opposite system where 1 is the highest grade

2019-06-03 13:52:43 UTC

We did the 1-5 metric in middle school but that was a "we'll try it and see how it goes" thing. 5 being the highest grade.

2019-06-03 13:53:23 UTC

In percents it's something like:
90%+ - 5
75%+ - 4
50%+ - 3
30%+ - 2

2019-06-03 14:02:37 UTC

I've done the straight A thing but I've also done the 0.2 gpa thing
