wikipedia is pretty terrible overall, it's too political

the "employees" do none of the work, they profit off the volunteers. Most of the sources of information is taken from other places on the internet that use actual sources and a lot of the information can be inaccurate and its always wise to double-check it.

If I was a volunteer I'd clean up a shitload of their chemistry-related articles but I'm not a chump that does it for free.

And employees don't do much because it was supposed to be a sort of grassroot/community project from the beginning and its content is supposed to be created by its users
