@Spicy the <#518667514562084874> article you posted is slightly misleading because the author is low iq. the "hacking" hes referring to is a 51% attack. for most currency's if you can gain over 50% of a coins network mining hashrate you can rewrite transactions. basically "mining" is just verifying and if you can verify the majority you can do basically whatever you want with some transactions. this attack is actually very rare considering how much resources it would take to pull off.
