That's really got my almonds activated
yeah?
@ikillu I would like to see those interviews. Not that many Muslims dont support IS standardly.
The parents of a man killed by a drone in Yemen say he was "radicalised" in Christchurch. But preachers at the city mosque say they are moderates.
Christchurch's Muslim leaders say they are shocked and "disturbed" by claims two men killed in a drone strike in Yemen were introduced to radical Islam at their mosque.
Australian Christopher Havard, 27, and dual New Zealand-Australian national Daryl Jones were killed by a missile fired by a US drone in November.
Australia's ABC news yesterday reported the pair had been on an Australian Federal Police watchlist because of their links to al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) terror group.

<http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/10718902/Aotearoa-Muslim-is-proud-to-support-Isis> Tahuhu is one of Christchurch's fundamentalist Muslims. To some, he fits the description of an extremist. A member of the Aotearoa Maori Muslim Association, he openly supports Islamic State and claims to be in contact with people on the front lines in the Middle Eastern conflict.
> Aotearoa Maori Muslim Association
dangerous sounding tbh

Kiwi Isis member, fought in Syria
A Kiwi teenager radicalised online planned to ram a car into a group of people in Christchurch and then stab them.
The teenager wrote a goodbye note to his mother, then started a violent incident, but has since told a psychologist when it began he "decided not to hurt anybody because he did not have the means to kill enough people", Crown prosecutor Chris Lange told the Christchurch District Court at sentencing on Thursday.
"The reason no-one was hurt was that he did not have access to knives," Lange said. But there was significant premeditation, and hostility towards non-Muslims.
Bin that knoife
Seems like our killer specifically targeted this Mosque for a reason
A Kiwi jihadist who has links with al Qaeda and has taken up arms in Syria wants to leave the war-torn country -- but first needs a fresh New Zealand passport after burning his old one.
Mohammad Daniel, also know as Abu Abdul Rahman, and formerly known as Mark John Taylor, says war-torn Syria needs humanitarian aid rather than a bloody jihad.
He claims to have been in touch with the New Zealand government in a bid to get a new passport.

<https://www.ibtimes.com.au/new-zealand-watchlist-possible-isis-supporters-may-cause-stigma-muslims-1386104> About 30 to 40 New Zealanders are being monitored for potential involvement. Although Mr Key has ruled out military involvement, an advance team from New Zealand Defence has been sent to Iraq to evaluate New Zealand's potential role in training Iraqi troops.
Meanwhile, the number of people on the government's watchlist has surprised members of the Federation of Islamic Associations. The organisation's vice-president, Javed Khan, said they were concerned that Mr Key had mentioned a huge number. The federation's own intelligence revealed around five to eight people who may be possibly connected to ISIS.
surprised NZ gov. is monitoring 30 - 40 people for connections to ISIS, but their own org Fed. of Islamic Associations reveal 5 to 8 peeps with connections to ISIS.
