To be completely honest Kirk it depends on whether or not their VPN keeps logs most VPN providers do there are a few that don't but unless you're aware of this when you buy the VPN subscription you're fucked @Captain Kirk JT
TL;DR don't use hidemyass VPN or nordvpn they keep logs and they will give you up to the feds
