If you're in the business of getting help or making friends, this Discord is not the place to go for it. I've given it chance after chance to prove itself to be a safe place for all Gear Queers to chat and have fun, but all of my efforts have been in vain.
The simplest of questions are met with hostility and belittlement, with the mods not only dismissing but sometimes encouraging this abrasive behavior. My formal questions for help only inspired personal attacks and harassment towards me, and multiple times I have found examples of racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic, anti-Semitic, transphobic, and other actions of toxic intolerance towards other users. Every channel is filled with elitist manchildren who "flex on the poors".
Even small mistakes are not shown mercy, for a small error in my terminology resulted in users rallying together to humiliate me for not knowing any better. Newfags are often the target of this amplified cyberbullying, with server members making crude judgements based on factors out of others' control, like where they live or the color of their goddamn username, like that matters at all.
Imeaving this Discord server; you don't deserve my time and I certainly don't want to associate with it. If you're looking for a friendly, welcoming server for all, /GQ/s Discord should be your last consideration. DayNoodles and Fluffy's discords are all amazing and supportive communities that represent what gear is all about. @Crack cookah
