@Kali when you go to the ER and have the same problem they put a tube into the exact same place you put the decomp needle. They would literally just leave it in until they knew what was going on inside you and probably just switch it out later or do a lower intercostal and take it out.

To clarify I mean when you’re a lone guy and you have a tq, he has a tq, there’s plenty of tq a or otherwise supplies available. It’s a waste of time to apply that pressure on an injury when you can spend those several seconds getting the tq on since applying that pressure will counteract trying to get a tq on

you can do both at the same time

and if its a serious bleed they can die in a few seconds

you kinda need to do everything you can to keep blood inside of them

I’ve never found it applicable unless the wound is on the upper part of the limb so you’re able to bend the lower end to allow easier access

you just upstrap the tq and go under the limb

I’ve only done training though, never had to do it on a person
