you probably just played 1-3 because it's all practically the same thing
3 is when they added zip cuffs
and you could capture dudes for intel
before then it was just shooting people to death
Lmao
dude remember if you got votekicked they sent you to Leavenworth?
I remember the experience points were called honor and if you team killed dudes you would lose honor
yep
NO
HONOR
honor was 3
What game is this?
America's Army
America’s army
oh I thought you mean the actualy army lol. Was that a propoganda piece the military made?
jesus my spelling
Pretty much
haha
it was p. much project reality before project reality came out
@PierogiPal! supposedly some people credited the CLS courses from the games for actually teaching them how to save people in real life
I mean I'd believe it
the top level CLS course was fucking long
and was rendered in a hospital
if I thought I could fly F-22's or helicopters I might join but the odds of getting stuck at a desk or destroying my body are way, way higher.
It was pretty good though
that's where I learned the really outdated information about how you only use TQs in the last possible scenario
Yeahhh
because that was back before people realized TQs should be a go-to option
Right
Why was anyone confused about that? If people are dying from blood loss and TQs stop blood loss...... Where is the disconnect here?
Though I remember taking some stupid class so I could be a certified babysitter or some bullshit and they asked us what we should do if the kid gets cut and I said tourniquet
nice
And they were like uhh
No
Because they used to believe that if you put a tourniquet on a limb and it stayed there over a couple hours then the limb was basically done
general idea back then was that TQs restricted bloodflow and that EMSs wouldn't get people to care rooms fast enough to prevent limb loss
yeah
And would have to be amputated
yep
We now know that is not the case
