What*

2019-09-26 02:35:06 UTC

Probably the lack of nades

2019-09-26 02:35:08 UTC

Idk what the flare launchers are made of

2019-09-26 02:35:28 UTC

Maybe a thick plastic like a traditional flaregun

2019-09-26 02:35:58 UTC

Or its metal and just a workaround idk where they draw the like

2019-09-26 02:36:05 UTC

Doesnt seem hard to replace with steel if you have access to a cnc

2019-09-26 02:36:14 UTC

or just line the barrel with steel

2019-09-26 02:37:08 UTC

Oh right, the launchers are fine but each round must be registered or some shit. Time for tannerite and sugar rockets?

2019-09-26 02:38:19 UTC

im not sure if were talkin 40mm or 37mm flare launchers right now

2019-09-26 02:38:26 UTC

^^

2019-09-26 02:38:38 UTC

40mm HE rounds each get their own stamp, chalk rounds are g2g just order online

2019-09-26 02:38:56 UTC

37mm is all fair game as long as you dont drop the conversions into them for actual live rounds

2019-09-26 02:40:10 UTC

So i could have something like the m32

2019-09-26 02:40:42 UTC

As long as i promise not to use HE rounds

2019-09-26 02:40:51 UTC

Are you allowed to attach it to your rifle without a stamp?

2019-09-26 02:40:53 UTC

An M203, so 40mm.

2019-09-26 02:41:32 UTC

I think civilian versions might be 37mm because that gets around some bullshit law about the ammo.

2019-09-26 02:41:49 UTC

I wouldnt mind having a 37mm

2019-09-26 02:42:00 UTC

Just for dickin around

2019-09-26 02:42:26 UTC

What conversion are you talking about?

2019-09-26 02:42:48 UTC

@LegomanT chalk is not g2g iirc

2019-09-26 02:43:12 UTC

I remember ATF was kicking the idea of changing their status however as I recall that never went anywhere

2019-09-26 02:43:43 UTC

@Red Korvo multi shot civilian legal launchers

2019-09-26 02:44:00 UTC

i think its just whatever the interpretation of "antipersonnel" is

2019-09-26 02:44:05 UTC

They seem like more than i wana spend

2019-09-26 02:44:14 UTC

cuz its technically a signal device

2019-09-26 02:44:56 UTC

^^^^^^^^^

2019-09-26 02:46:14 UTC

Ok, 40mm is a destrucvtive device. 37 isnt. Both were sold to civilians. Shotgun shell conversion kits exist. Each 40mm nade is a dear device with a $200 stamp.

2019-09-26 02:46:30 UTC

rifled 37 is a dd

2019-09-26 02:46:50 UTC

each exploding 40mm nade is a dd w/ stamp

2019-09-26 02:46:55 UTC

not normie ones

2019-09-26 02:52:01 UTC

The shotgun shell conversations for flare guns are a NFA item. Wouldn't that do the same for 37mm?

2019-09-26 02:52:21 UTC

Im just going from the wiki page on the M203.

2019-09-26 02:52:53 UTC

I don't get how the launcher AND the ammo is a DD.

2019-09-26 02:53:47 UTC

because explosives

2019-09-26 02:54:33 UTC

Because the government hates us

2019-09-26 02:54:36 UTC

ATF rulings are a clusterfuck

2019-09-26 02:54:48 UTC

because after a certain caliber things become DDs

2019-09-26 02:55:12 UTC

otherwise 40mm cannons would be firearms

2019-09-26 02:55:12 UTC

shotgun shell conversions are nfa because they are sbs's

2019-09-26 02:55:20 UTC

not that theyre dds
