There isn't actually a pouch but more of a holder for the plate, it could be any shape.

The vest is not a propper plate vest but a middle ground, it has plate comparability, though not often used.

At what point is moisture/ rain a problem for ceramic plates?

Harshest I’ve worn them in rain was on the lighter side, can’t imagine until you’re leaving them submerged for a time that it’s an issue

NIJ dunks them for half an hour. I'd hazard a guess that reputable manufacturers use a durable waterproof wrap that is engineered to withstand water for extended periods, since they're not *just* designing to the test

to my understanding water isn't big a deal to ceramics as some (steel nigs) make it out to be
