3d printers aren't gear or gunsmithing equipment for anyone who lives in a 1st world country
they're neat though
first-world industrial equipment that is gear is essentially limited to nod toobz machining
although the way that leafland is going soon printers and gatsmith equipment will be gear
trucks are gear
don't forget about the customized visit from NCIS
What is special about nod tube machine tools? @PunishedSpurdo
they are a machine that lets you make nod tube
@Snowback oh yeah, I've been meaning to post my truck, since it counts now. I'm not as much of a poorfag as I thought. And are regular sunsmithing tools gear?
they are the only sufficiently advanced industrial equipment worthy of being called gear in a first-world country, because you can bet your ass that shit is gucci
No shit. But are you just talking about really accurate lathes and the like, or specialized stuff?
yes
you need a lathe to make nod tubes
the specialized shit for the photon amplifier
it takes a really accurate carbide cutter to shape the photocathodes to gen 3 tolerances
If cheap cheat rigs are gear, then lathes aren't disqualified for not being gucci.
okay show me the gear you made with a lathe
cause guns aren't ⚙
machining is cool and all. But it's not a discord about machining
sewing machines are gear
RAIDMOD
RAIDMOD
Make steel plates with a lathe
Maybe I'm not understanding photocathodes construction then. My bad.
imagine not making bulletproof chainmail
ok
well yeah they are but you need to cut them into shape before you put them in the mesh
I'll watch some vids about them.
I like to make my micro-channel plates on a sheet metal brake
if you can cut even gen 2 photocathode-grade meshes with a manual lathe, what the absolute fuck are you doing not swimming in dosh
Ok, so we're going with "the only gun manufacturing tools that count as gear are photocathodes machines?" We should make these into a list of rules.
rules are not gear
so no rules
gear is gear
thats all you need to know
Oh cool thanks for the advice.
You're welcome

Have any of you guys messed around with printing gear/gun parts? I have a printer and i really want to try printing a lower on it. I just need to put the stock print head back on so I can print a better cooling nozzle for the upgraded print head.
That lower is going to be complete garbage
even if ar lowers don't go through all that much stress
