What do you want your kit to do
Mesh well with a heavy ruck
I have always felt IBAs and IOTVs never actually meshed well with the rucksacks
Well either get a chest rig or a pc
Put ammo medical and comms on it
Good to go
You guys ever talk about sniper whips in comms discussion?
Protip
You can start your own discussion n see where it goes
This is a reddit gear server, not a degenerate /k/ shitter cringe channel
Alrighty then
Sniper whips were a really cool concept I saw in the military
Typically they were used on 148s and 152s and involved stripping down an otherwise long (tall) antenna
Then looping it through the mollee loops on the back of an IBA
Similar to that horse cock/torso ratio
You create an antenna aperture with the surface area of your back
Which has some advantages and drawbacks
But coming up next year
Iv seen what your goin on about
Doing this configuration with a phased array antenna would allow someone to use the Starlink constellation SpaceX is putting up
But on a kit sized set up
Sat comm. = slow as turtle dicks
This is not geo stationary sat comm
I’d give it a read
*leaves to fetch links*
Virgin comms vs chad SCREAM
Ok so what happens when they run out of purple yarn
That limits the numbers of tin cans that can be used
Hm, perhaps the luxury soup market in Canada needs to slow down then
Luxury soup is only permitted for trudoo loyalist
/k/ meta: Anyone remember waaaaay back when Sealand shit posting started?
>potential energy per magazine
cringe
sealand was a <:sip:559943858381651968>
I might get the tyt digital/analog combo after checkin out Starlink
picking myself up a sealand passport
they stopped issuing real ones after 9/11
