@War Waifu you prefer the trauma bandage or dressing
it doesn't matter i use them for the same thing
i've opened the nar ETD and the isrealis before
you can get them booth tight but the little bar on the isrealis is probably better
the ones that come in the SIRK are interesting because they have a front and back pad
for entry and exist wounds on limbs
but they are only 4 inch pads
i like having a big wide pad that i can wrap tight
i'm mainly carrying them as a wound covering and a way to keep direct pressure on a wound when a TQ doesn't need to or can't be used
is that a legit fast helmet?
Its a bump
bump?
pardon my retardidity
Imagine being this retarded
google bump helmet
He needs a bump helmet apparently.
i see
i learnt
Eat coal.
eat coal live fast
@Cataclysmo give him the moron label

thank you for your service
F
Using a TQ is rated for up to 24 hrs sometimes depending on the dept
But realistically it’s gonna be on for less than 3 for most cases
Yeah
Cause noone is retarded enough to keep a tourniqueted person from getting to the hopspital asap
Limbs are very flexible with oxygenation, part of the reason why you don’t amputate every time an arm ‘falls asleep’
I’m trying to imagine the shit throwing that would happen if I took 3 hours to transport a major trauma patient
I should try that
Well
Usually wilderness rescue
A lot of times it’s a helicopter that’s called in in some remote area
Aviation+medicine is an extremely niche field where a few feet in elevation can turn a minor problem into a major
Or alleviate atmos pressure that would otherwise be very serious
My buddy is EMS in western Montana, which means actually practicing trauma medicine for a couple hours
you gotta do what you gotta do. he was talking about it yesterday
