There's no "free" gun ownership here. Unless grandfathered or collecting. And even then you're cucked if you can't invest in the necessities required by law.

Most owners here either shoot for sport or are hunters.

And have to prove they practice regularly.

And most people don't "own" guns per se. They're just members of a shooting club, and either store their guns there, or get one handed out each time they're there.

The reason you don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about is because a huge amount of the “tactical” information available is from people who don’t know what the fuck they’re talking about. It’s an unbelievable echo chamber of unscientific horseshit. You guys watch Garand Thumb videos and pop so many boners because he kind of sounds like he knows what he’s talking about. Do you know what Garand Thumb did in the military? He was a SERE instructor. Do you know what they do? They teach a survival class to other people in the Air Force, which at no point in time requires him to engage in a gun fight with another human being. If your’e at an RQS and your SERE guy is in a gunfight, something went horribly wrong. Not to kick this dude too hard while he’s down, but he has made a persona out of people MISTAKING him for SOF. You don’t wanna be like this guy. It’s disingenuous and frankly cringe inducing.
Why does this matter if he’s a “good shooter”? Why does it matter if any of the people we’re taking advice from aren’t gunfighters if they’re good shooters? It’s because the information you’re getting is either non-firsthand or just not based in reality. Theatrics and solo-range performance don’t translate to actual combat. I’ve seen videos of this skinny kid dancing around with his handgun between “friendly” targets trying to hit a few enemy ones with like 17 billion views. He said he was “practicing for a gunfight in a mall” or some shit like that. Are you fucking kidding me?
