You want steel toe work boots. You do not want steel toe hiking boots.

2019-11-08 08:35:52 UTC

But if your job doesn't require steel toes, composite toes can be a compromise.

2019-11-08 08:37:29 UTC

btw @CTL remember how you said Tacos are shit? I found that pic you sent me

2019-11-08 08:37:37 UTC

it only happens with AK mags

2019-11-08 08:37:47 UTC

huh

2019-11-08 08:37:49 UTC

er

2019-11-08 08:38:06 UTC

I only said they're shit because they're not in vogue and dedicated AR mag pouches are better

2019-11-08 08:38:21 UTC

they functionally fine

2019-11-08 08:38:34 UTC

🤷🏿

2019-11-08 08:38:36 UTC

you're still correct, and they are more expensive than kywis considering they aren't much better, but I doubt they're gonna get you killed using AR mags

2019-11-08 08:39:03 UTC

they're not going to get you killed lmao

2019-11-08 08:40:22 UTC

I'm not required to wear steel, but I wouldn't mind it. I haven't been wearing them thus far. Not many toe threats in this part of the factory.

2019-11-08 08:40:54 UTC

but most importantly

2019-11-08 08:40:56 UTC

tacos are ugly

2019-11-08 08:40:57 UTC

dab

2019-11-08 08:41:00 UTC

😏

2019-11-08 08:41:02 UTC

I've been wearing Brooks running shoes and they have enough traction but they're fucking painful.

2019-11-08 08:56:42 UTC

Damn why are running shoes uncomfortable?

2019-11-08 08:57:22 UTC

No fucking clue. They're my size and have arch support.

2019-11-08 09:04:48 UTC

Maybe they're just designed to be comfortable on moving feet or something. But it's gotten to the point where even my thin shoes feel better, and just walking around in these hurts. I'd never wear the others to work though. Did that the first two days and it was 10x worse.

2019-11-08 09:05:45 UTC

Gonna have to state your question, not sure what you're not geting.

2019-11-08 09:06:42 UTC

Just wear crocks

2019-11-08 09:07:20 UTC

Wear thicker socks

2019-11-08 09:07:55 UTC

get better running shoes, they should be the opposite of uncomfortable

2019-11-08 09:08:41 UTC

Yeah that was my point

2019-11-08 09:09:00 UTC

I ain't owned running shoes that were nice while running but uncomfortable to stand in

2019-11-08 09:09:15 UTC

Sounds like just wrong shape for your feet or something

2019-11-08 09:16:19 UTC

I don't fucking know what to do then. I went to a running store. The guy fit me for these.

2019-11-08 09:17:05 UTC

What?

2019-11-08 09:19:24 UTC

Go back and tell him he fit you wrong and you hate them

2019-11-08 09:19:33 UTC

Tell him you want crocks

2019-11-08 09:20:14 UTC

I don't even own crocks but I'm talking myself into it.

2019-11-08 09:20:15 UTC

I've had them for probably 2 or 3 years. I never realized how bad it was till I started spending 12 hour days in them.

2019-11-08 09:21:30 UTC

More important issue is, when I get new shoes, how do I know they'll work if I only have 5 minutes to walk around in the store and I can't judge them by minor issues because they'll be very different once broken in?

2019-11-08 09:22:19 UTC

Bro, 12 hour days are going to suck on your feet even if you're wearing pillows full of feathers pulled from God's favorite goose.

2019-11-08 09:22:57 UTC

Have you tried aftermarket insoles?

2019-11-08 09:23:43 UTC

No. Should I?

2019-11-08 09:24:15 UTC

maybe?

2019-11-08 09:24:25 UTC

buy some good ones

2019-11-08 09:24:30 UTC

what socks are you using?
