Yeah, everyone hates it

I hated it initially, but I think everyone’s disgust makes me like it more

I dislike my vickers sling

Prefer vtac

I think it’s okay, but I’m wanting to try something else

Been looking into slings. Why dont you like it?

Much smoother. Wider range of adjustment.

I think I’m going to take a shot with the Ferro Slingster

Material feels cheaper. Adjustment not as smooth. Zero extra strap bits flopping around, though.

Basically feels like a cheaper-made copy of a vtac that they sell for full price because Larry Snickers has his name on it.

Haven't ever tried a slingster, magpul, or that new one from Haley. Would probably give the slingster a go if I bought another.

I like the Vickers over the Magpul

I’ve never tried VTAC

Vtac has a lot of extraneous material hanging off depending on how tight you have it cinched up

it's not even good

The thing you grab to tighten it grows as you pull it tight.

But the material of the sling itself and the hardware feels waaaay higher quality.

A guy I work with has one along with the d3crm and flatpack and everything else, but he basically never shoots, so I don’t trust his opinion

Rather than $4 worth of milspec webbing and some specialty triglides.

the padding is too short, it'll end up riding off your shoulder a lot

2/1 convertible is borderline gimmick because you can't swap it faster than you can just swim out of a 2 point, but still nice to have once in a while
