@Vic post guns and favorite touhou

2019-11-13 21:13:44 UTC

the manufacturer of the ifak

2019-11-13 21:14:26 UTC

it's a shit tier chinese pouch that was only bought for T&E while I wait on an AWS medical pouch

2019-11-13 21:14:30 UTC

@Vic post gear with a timestamp.

2019-11-13 21:14:41 UTC

the moment I pick up the AWS bag this is going back to the mfg

2019-11-13 21:14:42 UTC

@All UCP Everything buy a raptor.

2019-11-13 21:15:20 UTC

I asked about that one earlier

2019-11-13 21:15:26 UTC

Is it legit?

2019-11-13 21:15:43 UTC

The Odin mk 3

2019-11-13 21:15:57 UTC

all of those belts are legit, the only difference is that the AWS is the most barebones and therefore the cheapest

2019-11-13 21:16:12 UTC

you can't go wrong with a $100+ belt with padding and sewn in PALS webbing

2019-11-13 21:17:59 UTC

part of the reason the AWS is so cheap is also the fact that it has no PALS webbing and requires those MOLLE panels

2019-11-13 21:18:24 UTC

it's still a very nice belt but if you put a half dozen panels on there to load gear you're going to pay just as much as if you had bought a $100 belt with PALS webs

2019-11-13 21:19:20 UTC

I might go with the raptor

2019-11-13 21:19:36 UTC

If I ever got another one I would probably get the normal sized tkn

2019-11-13 21:20:31 UTC

@Punished Gunn Do you have the Raptor?

2019-11-13 21:22:08 UTC

The mk3 is great.

2019-11-13 21:22:43 UTC

Do you have the regular or 3 gun stiffness?

2019-11-13 21:22:51 UTC

tom, how you putting holsters onto a two piece belt?

2019-11-13 21:23:04 UTC

wanted a ragnarok SD but the botkinite customer service is trash

2019-11-13 21:28:52 UTC

I have regular and it works fine for me. I might have sprung for 3gun if I had bought direct, but I haven't compared the two.

2019-11-13 21:30:07 UTC

And I'm using a QLS on a UBL just directly threaded through the outer belt like any other.

2019-11-13 21:31:03 UTC

I have basically the same amount of gear on mine so I might go with regular

2019-11-13 21:33:12 UTC

does it sit between MOLLE pouches or is it mounted to one?

2019-11-13 21:35:47 UTC

@Vic post gear with timestamp

2019-11-13 21:36:35 UTC

2019-11-13 21:37:45 UTC

so just mounted to the belt itself, not hooked through PALS

2019-11-13 21:37:48 UTC

That the quickdetach holster mount?

2019-11-13 21:38:00 UTC

Actually that reminds me. Where exactly do you guys normally put the zip ties to take the extra wobble out?

2019-11-13 21:40:22 UTC

I’ve never actually done it

2019-11-13 21:42:28 UTC

@Festive once im home 👍

2019-11-13 21:43:24 UTC

@Festive yeah. Takes less than a second to swap between holsters if you need to. I'm probably going to be running different sidearms once I land this job.

2019-11-13 21:44:07 UTC

How easy is it to accadently yeet your gun because you bumped the holster weird

2019-11-13 21:44:17 UTC

Also what job?

2019-11-13 21:44:30 UTC

It's not easy to yeet

2019-11-13 21:45:04 UTC

Just as secure as a dedicated holster?

2019-11-13 21:45:23 UTC

In general i mean

2019-11-13 21:46:24 UTC

im on that quest

2019-11-13 21:46:29 UTC

I've never heard of it being an issue. You have to detent the fork from both sides of the holster at the same time to remove it. They make a locking version if you're really worried about it. And state police.

2019-11-13 21:46:31 UTC

Id say the prongs are 1/4 long, so you'd have to press half inch total, and then lift it 4 inches to get it off
