@yergo good to know that my exquisite taste in .22s will be appreciated by the unwashed hordes of 10/22 owners

2019-11-16 22:54:39 UTC

I had a few malfunctions today. A few times when I pulled the trigger, it didn't fire but I felt the bolt slide forward all the way as if it got stuck and firing it caused it to finish moving forward. I'm sure the gun needs to be broken in but what caused that?

2019-11-16 22:54:53 UTC

the bolt went forward?

2019-11-16 22:54:56 UTC

or the firing pin

2019-11-16 22:55:09 UTC

@Festive a little difficult because I need tools but I do want to get used to it.

2019-11-16 22:55:35 UTC

oh I see

2019-11-16 22:55:41 UTC

@fjogert I think the firing pin went forward and jarred the bolt forward, because it chambered but then I couldn't fire.

2019-11-16 22:55:51 UTC

So it was out of battery?

2019-11-16 22:55:59 UTC

@JakeTheSnake What stuff are you looking at getting?

2019-11-16 22:56:03 UTC

and then went into battery when you pulled the trigger?

2019-11-16 22:56:17 UTC

Well I wanna get a pc

2019-11-16 22:56:20 UTC

probably needs break in and lubrication

2019-11-16 22:56:21 UTC

for the micro

2019-11-16 22:56:29 UTC

but I’m not a 10/22 owner so I wouldn’t know for sure

2019-11-16 22:56:33 UTC

Yeah, which confused me because I didnt think the pin was supposed to move when out of of battery.

2019-11-16 22:56:52 UTC

nah it prob wasn’t the firing pin stopping the bolt

2019-11-16 22:56:56 UTC

i have a 10/22 but honestly i wish i had bought a .22 bolt or lever action instead

2019-11-16 22:57:09 UTC

if the firing pin was stuck forward then you’d probably have a machine gun on your hands

2019-11-16 22:58:01 UTC

I’d just shoot it more and lubricate it

2019-11-16 22:58:02 UTC

I don't think the pin went forward until I pulled the trigger.

2019-11-16 22:58:47 UTC

Although if that's the case, idk how I didnt have an out of battery firing.

2019-11-16 22:59:09 UTC

good designs prevent firing until the round is completely chambered

2019-11-16 23:00:03 UTC

But once I got it unjammed, it didn't fire. I had to manually cycle the bolt. The rounds fired when I put them back in a mag though.

2019-11-16 23:00:54 UTC

@Red Korvo i have a old gerber with a lot of various flatheads and iv never not been able to break down a gun with it

2019-11-16 23:01:59 UTC

@JakeTheSnake u want zenitco parts

2019-11-16 23:02:38 UTC

what you got?

2019-11-16 23:03:00 UTC

B10+B12 and RK3

2019-11-16 23:03:00 UTC

@Festive 10/22 takes 2 sizes of hex keys or 1 hex and 1 flat head.

2019-11-16 23:03:36 UTC

oh and an RP1 but it looks like u already have one

2019-11-16 23:03:43 UTC

just a b10 not a b10m?

2019-11-16 23:03:46 UTC

yeah
