@Misaki Not unlike ghosts they are always around us even when not visible. Exhaustion and sleep deprivation alter our biological tuning for worse; our minds are like antennas and when we are trying to operate beyond normal means our conciousness is unnable to filter out extra sensory presences. At one point I think the living and the dead were able to communicate without much effort and without the cultural and religious tabboos we are subject to. As always beings with nefarious motives caused some sort of split to occur, where the living and the dead are separated for the sake of maintaining order and preventing the worst dead from meddling with the living.Everything seems like its split, duality often makes me wonder what other things were separated to create more order.In regards to the origin of life I think the first beings were uncreated immortal horrors wandering the darkness. At an unordered origin point before physical laws were set in place I imagine them to be as primal as can be, being self aware but only caring to dominate eachother as things conducive to order had not existed yet. This also leads back to my belief of the living/dead/immortals being filtered/separated to maintain order.
