Oh, it's milsurp general.

2019-11-29 07:41:07 UTC

Not really into milsurp. I just love the packs. The belt is itself is OK. Kind of waiting to get myself a legitimate kit. Probably going to buy the carrier, plates, nods, peq, helmet altogether.

2019-11-29 07:46:35 UTC

That's probably an awful idea, but it doesn't matter. You're never going to do any of that.

@tacticoolyourjets Whatever you say

@DOOMER did you fight in Vietnam sir?

2019-11-29 11:49:57 UTC

Can't stop the signal. https://files.catbox.moe/8y9x3o.mp4

2019-11-29 11:55:12 UTC

imagine being years late to Defense Distributed and acting like we haven't seen this shit before

2019-11-29 11:56:37 UTC

I've known about it for years. The lopoint is a new file in development, and not everyone knows about DD yet. There are also developments like FOSSCAD that people might not know about if they haven't kept up with it.

2019-11-29 11:57:30 UTC

very cool thanks

2019-11-29 12:15:01 UTC

Holy shit I need to get my 3d printer back up and running. I haven't checked FOSCAD since I got my 10/22 and they have models for the magazines. Also, they have the receivers on there, and I think a few pieces of sheet steel would be enough to reinforce a printed 10/22 lower for long term use. IDK about the feed lips on the mags though. Those are bitch.

2019-11-29 12:29:34 UTC

maybe get an AR

2019-11-29 12:29:41 UTC

considering all you have is a 10/22

2019-11-29 12:35:15 UTC

Of course. That's probably the first gun I'll buy when I move out.

2019-11-29 13:36:45 UTC

Make sure it’s a good AR

2019-11-29 13:41:47 UTC

I plan on building it, but I'll take my time and do my research to make sure it's good. I already know the barrel is the most important part for accuracy, so I'll get a good one. I might even do an 80% lower if I have access to the tools at the time and my first attempt goes well.

2019-11-29 13:43:02 UTC

I would encourage you to do an 80% but it's much harder than a P80

2019-11-29 13:43:18 UTC

which is to say an 80% can be done by brain damaged meth heads

2019-11-29 13:43:26 UTC

and a 80% AR requires an IQ of 100

2019-11-29 13:43:38 UTC

P80?

2019-11-29 13:44:17 UTC

Polymer 80 Glock...

2019-11-29 13:44:20 UTC

keep up with me boy

2019-11-29 13:44:46 UTC

Ah. I thought it might mean polymer, but there are polymer lowers for ARs too.

2019-11-29 13:46:01 UTC

I'm sure I can do it, but I'll have to borrow my uncle's drill press and router, and I know how easy it is to misalign one drill bit and fuck the whole thing up.

2019-11-29 13:46:08 UTC

Have you done one before?

2019-11-29 13:48:16 UTC

I did a P80 Glock in July

2019-11-29 13:48:45 UTC

ultimately came to a point where I realized that I could not fit the locking block pins in both at a time because of fitment issues (asked my local smith and he confirmed)

2019-11-29 13:49:01 UTC

so its probably fucked and will require a new frame, I'll ask P80 if they will send a new one

2019-11-29 13:50:26 UTC

Ah. I'm actually looking at picking up an 80% from anderson, but they have a note saying "Please note that the rear lug pocket for the upper must be finished in the machining process in order to seat an upper" on the product page. Other manufacturers mention whether or not they've finished it already too. Any idea what it means?

2019-11-29 13:50:51 UTC

not a clue, avoid anderson

2019-11-29 13:51:26 UTC

How bad could their 80%s be? Don't they do OEM for tons of other manufacturers?

2019-11-29 13:53:52 UTC

spend the extra $15 and get an Aero lower.

2019-11-29 14:00:48 UTC

Afaik andersons trash rep comes from poor CC

2019-11-29 14:00:55 UTC

Its a gamble if you buy

2019-11-29 14:01:02 UTC

I'm not seeing any 80%s on Aero's site.

2019-11-29 14:01:24 UTC

I assembled an Anderson lower where the safety detent was drilled a few degrees from perpendicular

2019-11-29 14:01:44 UTC

how tf do you even do that...

2019-11-29 14:02:15 UTC

higher end companies will sometimes do individual inspections rather than batch testing
