also my 1915 Saxon (Kingdom of Saxony) Pickelhaube pretty nice ngl. It’s more rare then the others as it’s before the leather blockade so it was legit leather, and not from tin nor paper as later models. Pretty rare too, but probably my most prized piece of formal military gear that I would not personally wear but own

these things are light as shit though. I feel they couldn’t support the weight from NODS but maybe a metal one could. Those were made from tin so not a big step up but maybe. I’d do one on a repro M1916 helmet though
