In regards to red dots it's the dot moving around based on where your head is

So like if you point the optic at a specific point

If you move your head around relative to the optic

The dot will also move off the point

Parallax free would mean the dot stays on the point

Regardless of your head position

Most red dots have little enough paralax for that to not matter

So it's a stupid point against it
