I don’t know if steel is completely necessary for a belt you’ll be wearing regularly. That would be very stiff, like a comp belt

There’s some belts that have kydex inserts that work, but you can also just get a thick dual layer leather belt and it’ll work fine. Most niggas carry glocks anyways
