Like the development request came from nato pre fall of the ussr
Essentially, why have a sig MPX when you can have an MCX?
Nobody had it ready before the collapse
whats the recoil like compared to 9mm?
Similar
o ok
aite
But yeah towlheads in shitty Russian armor is the modern justification
but it never happened bc the Russians kept it since they couldn't afford anything 😂
Yup
Same with all them SVDs
US was mad worried about the middle East drowning in SVDs and booling our boys
can svds penn plates?
I've been wondering about that too. Why are all these PDWs and SMGs like the P90 (which I love to look at but not much more), and to some extent PCCs, exist when short ARs are a thing? What does an MP5 bring to the table over that?
yes
^
???
nigga
what
Exactly this
Pccs in current year are a 3cringe product
54r is like 30-06 tier
wait im retarded forgot they fired x54
smh
Also those short SMGs are dying in most of their roles
^
because 7.5in blackout rifles exist
And 7.5in 5.56 rifles exist too
7.5 5.56 rifles are hella dumb
Not really, from the bean counter perspective
🅱️istol🅱️aliber🅱️arbines are basically memes in current year
I thought 5.7 and the P90 where developed in response to domestic terrorism concerns when body armor became more available, hence the focus on not overpenatrating.
It was adapted
@fred_ditto no military worth anything uses a 7.5 inch 556 rifle
bean counter will just buy 300blk because anyone with that short of a gun usually isn't some grunt
The FN marketing department stirred up that worry basically lol
Not even incompetent police departments
You have guns that, from the trunnion back, have 100% parts interchangability with the standard infantry rifle
Or you could buy 5.5 MCXs
