it could probably take more
i wonder if hesco follows the NIJ back face deformation criteria for that test. i would assume so
typically composite plates will go a lot further than 6 rounds if you dont count BFD
I mean bfd or not if you get hit 6 times in a row im sure youre gonna have some internal bleeding
Or a wicked mad bruise
depends on the round
6 rounds of 30.06
?
You'd have to be pretty close range for even a skilled operator to make 6 quick hits to your torso
I mean obviously the smaller rounds
I think the bigger concern would be them just closing the distance and putting one in your head at that point
its not even 30 06
its 30 06 AP
which fucking noone has
:^)
>he doesnt have any M2AP
oh really?
Seriously though
It's probably the most widely available AP round
Well the 3810 is rated for 3006 jsp
because it's relatively affordable and reks a lot of armor
M2ap is pretty dated tho
M993 and m995 is scary
its still the standard by which plates are tested
most people don't buy AP
i know a lot of guys who reload it into 308
dont know many people who have a serious 30-06 gun besides a garand though
Damnit im torn between the u210 and the 3810
i have seen its specs out of 308 before, but i cant remember the numbers
M80 ball protection vs m855a1
>810 per plate
Well fuckin shit im at an impasse again
Does noone make a plate like the u210 but it can also stop non-ap 7.62x51?
It can probably take 308
it's just not explictly rated for it
Any level three can take .308
But the u210 isnt level 3
oh wait
