While you’re shoving your pen into random shit, next time you’re at work go ahead and shove it into the wall socket to test if that still works
It took me most of that time to realize it was loud enough to cause damage. It's just above the threshold, and they don't exactly give us safety training. And I haven't sustained any acute hearing damage.

@fred_ditto is spitting true facts
I went to my local community college straight out of high school because I got a scholarship from a local manufacturing company that paid for 85ish percent of my tuition. Plus, I only have to work there for a year after graduation, which I'm currently about halfway through.
I make $20/hr
I'm 20
I drive a 2 year old wrx
And still live at home
And have ZERO student debt
And the car will be paid off in february
I bought it in July
And there's a place about an hour from me that starts at 30 or 35/hr

I've got a car and I could pay it off tomorrow actually.
How old? Do you live somewhere with shit weather? How far is your commute?
So you're saying I can find places that will take me with no experience and pay me while I'm also going to school? Maybe I've just never heard of this shit because I live in suburbia.
