Mid ride seems like the way to go unless you spend a large percentage of your time in vehicles

I have a long enough torso to get away with regular holster but da single strap is comfy and secure

That’s a common issue with low quality lowers, the spring or detent get hung up on something which would cause it to not push out to its full extension
