Well shorts are fine but if you're wearing them with a carrier, they'll get in the way

What if you run the shorty at like 11 or 2

I do not recommend doing that because it'll get in the way when you bend over

basically shortys place the mag high up which is now where the side of your carrier is or where your stomach is

I don't have a PC at the moment, I think I'd rather just have that extra mag real estate to grab

Mid height should be fine

Just enough retention for both the mag and pouch when you attach it
