My take on the micro rig is that you can expand it when you want but it’s base setup is small enough to be clipped into a plate carrier
In which case your radio and other shit in the extra pouches would just be going in the carrier

A soft shell or goretex shell would be better tbh
Seriously? I got one several years back for like 45. It worked well enough for camping, but it's definately not breathable and needs some tratment to be waterproof
For 45 or a used one off some Airsofter wouldn't be too bad
A lot of them are knockoffs too
I wanted to make one from goretex, even got some fabric samples, but then decided I don't want to wear a gorka even if it performs better
