Too bad, you're wrong. The new catch has been perfect. It sits a little bit lower than catches I've seen in pictures but it functions just fine. This tells me the issue is the tolerances on the lower.

Was the lower not milspec?

The first buffer retainer I bought barely fit, and I snapped it (that actually was me being stupid). I bought two more from a different company and both wouldn't fit at all. I had to sand one down to make it work. So yeah, I'm pretty sure this is on Noreen.

@Runt it was mil-spec. Well, the manufacturer said it was. Clearly it wasn't. Either that, or both Aero Precision and AR Stoner make completely out of spec parts on a consistent basis.
