I like SCAR’s but yeah they destroy optics

Don't other .308 rifles have that issue though?

I heard something similar can happen with the SVD if you aren't using a durable optic

well a SVD you are going to be almost certently using a optic that was actuall made for it specificly

it makes sense but it is only really being a problem now is the my theory of the time of battle rifles the most of a optic you are going to have is a proper scope. but with modern times electronics such as red dots and holos it is just now showing the problem

i personally dont like them because if you are shooting off a barricade the reciprocating bolt handle slams into my support hand

oh it is no problem if you are A) only holding it in marksmens ship conditions and B) are right handed

Yeah the only reason why the price is as high as it is is due to supply and demand

was a bit beat up worn paint and hand guard but the action was still smooth

I hear DSA makes FALs but I hear they have mixed results

Some people have issues with them

nah I figured it wasn't

I'm assuming it was probably a pre ban FAL

Which I hear are generally better
