Want a nice personal ruck sack. Training up for mountain school so something that is designed for that environment and load would be cool
Any recommendations?
Go look at garand thumb on YouTube. His video on long range packs
He talks about a few good ones
Will do
I'm a fan of Cannae packs
I have a mystery ranch ruck. But I was just given that one.
But then again, I don't ruck
Ordered with supply and didn’t pay a dime lol
I ruck. A LOT
Well not while we are down here
I don’t know many sailors that ruck lol
My bag was a kick bag for survival. Haha
Ahh
In case your flying machine stops doing the flying part
I did SERE, that was enough humping around in the woods for me.
I’m getting to get on helis
I’ve been on a chinook once
That’s my only experience with helis
Wanna be flight medic but the school has a few fucked up civilian contracts and I’d have to re-enlist for like 6 years
You at least get a nice bonus?
I originally got a 20k bonus
Same
I have a psyops buddy who got offered 50k to reup if I remember correctly
He refused cuz his wife was pregnant or something gay like that
I know a guy who got a 60k bonus
What a gay move to get a woman pregnant
Ya super gay
IKR
Bro girls are gay and have cooties
And date night takes money away from the gun fund
That’s true
Need to order some level 4 plates. I don’t want AR500. Ceramic is preferred. Any suggestions?
Honestly for the prov con. IV plates are a waste of money man. Your best bang for your buck is to go III+. The only real advantage the IV has over the III+ is that it can take a .50 cal hit, but the impact would kill you, so its pointless.
I’ll look into that. Any good plates in mind?
From personal experience, AR500 are the best on the market. I have used them for years. I actually used them back in the day before they were called AR500 and it was just two guys making plates in their garage.
I would also advise steel over ceramic. There are almost no pros to the SAPI/ceramic/hybrid plates other than slightly less weight, which personally you really never notice.
Yeah the weights not the issue. My main concern is with spalling
