You guys wanna hear the most officer bullshit ever? In my squadron I work in the safety department. A new instruction came down from Commander of Naval Air Forces detailing requirements for implementing a Safety Management System. Who bunch of requirements for aviation safety programs. Anyway, one of the requirements is to have an operation risk management worksheet that is filled out prior to every flight to identify risk factors for that particular mission. So that's what I've been working on for the last week or so. Creating an operational risk management worksheet. Shoot me. Somehow I have to find time for this in addition to briefing, teaching and flying. So I tend to be at work for 12-13 hours a day.

Oh and then I had to make a powerpoint and give a brief on how to use the worksheet at our squadron safety stand down yesterday
