Only thing I don't like about it is it using MP5K pistol sights

2019-12-27 19:08:40 UTC

And not traditional MP5 sights

2019-12-27 19:09:31 UTC

Yeah its like $1700 for the base "pistol" then you have to get the stock, which only one company makes an adaptor for. Then you have the sights and the mags are something like I want to say $60 each.

2019-12-27 19:09:40 UTC

Hang on let me find the video.

2019-12-27 19:09:49 UTC

I never got why german MP5 mags cost so much

2019-12-27 19:10:10 UTC

You'd think a gun from the 60s that's used by so many militaries across the world would have the mags be cheap

2019-12-27 19:10:26 UTC

G3 mags are cheap for example

2019-12-27 19:15:37 UTC

Oh yeah I forgot it doesn't come with a rail lol

2019-12-27 19:15:52 UTC

So either you use the claw mount that no one does anymore or just get a rail on it

2019-12-27 19:19:09 UTC

I think the only brace/you can get for them right now is the tail hook.

2019-12-27 19:21:03 UTC

I see

2019-12-27 19:21:32 UTC

Give it time, the aftermarket has to catch up and adjust. The SP5 was just released.

2019-12-27 19:22:07 UTC

ye

2019-12-27 19:22:23 UTC

I don't have enough to get it right now though

2019-12-27 19:22:39 UTC

They better watch out with the glock 44 coming out

2019-12-27 19:22:44 UTC

lol

2019-12-27 19:22:51 UTC

Finally glock makes a .22 glock

2019-12-27 19:22:53 UTC

Like I said just the pistol alone is like $1700.

2019-12-27 19:23:16 UTC

I wanted a glock in .44 mag or special

2019-12-27 19:23:36 UTC

I would think that would blow the gun to shit.

2019-12-27 19:23:53 UTC

I heard that happened back when they released the .40 glocks

2019-12-27 19:24:02 UTC

At first they were blowing up

2019-12-27 19:24:16 UTC

That's where glocknades came from

2019-12-27 19:24:30 UTC

Yeah it did because they didn't reenforce the frames. they just threw the .40 slides onto 9mm frames.

2019-12-27 19:24:34 UTC

Because people were throwing p and +p in them

2019-12-27 19:25:45 UTC

No, just regular .40 where causing them to fail. Even Beretta had frame cracking issues when they made the first .40 cal 92s. They later reenforced the fames to compensate.

2019-12-27 19:26:17 UTC

Wonder how the FBI tolerated .40 glocks exploding at first lol

2019-12-27 19:27:00 UTC

They did not. Which is why glock had to go in and reenforce the frames. Still better than the old gen 1 and 2 glocks that melted if you left them in a hot car.

2019-12-27 19:27:10 UTC

lol

2019-12-27 19:27:28 UTC

And people complained about the XM8 melting

2019-12-27 19:27:58 UTC

Yet their precious glocks would melt in hot cars back in the day

2019-12-27 19:28:51 UTC

Well by the time the Xm8 was in testing polymers were better at heat resistance. The major issues with the XM8 was its weight and how how hard it was to mitigate issues.

2019-12-27 19:29:22 UTC

I thought the XM8 was meant to be lighter though 🤔

2019-12-27 19:29:30 UTC

Guess it wasn't?

2019-12-27 19:29:50 UTC

it was lighter and that was kind of the problem, it was too light and even in a 5.56 the recoil was beating the shit out of it.

2019-12-27 19:29:54 UTC

It was still 7 pounds almost the same as a m16 at the time

2019-12-27 19:30:06 UTC

5.56 recoil beating the shit out of something

2019-12-27 19:30:09 UTC

That’s funny

2019-12-27 19:30:13 UTC

^

2019-12-27 19:30:19 UTC

I can only imagine what it'd be like shooting the PDW XM8 then lol
