Those
Glock is just weird.
What do you all of you think of DA/SA pistols?
Think it's better than a manual safety?
No. nothing is better than a good manual safety. DA/SA with a manual safety is a seriously good combination though.
I personally don’t care for manual safety’s on handguns. Although it’s not like I wouldn’t get a handgun with one. Like my FNX Tac
I know people bitched about the safety on the beretta 92s
Due to it being mounted on the slide
Although ironically it was requested to be mounted there
Yeah, I never had an issue with it and it was more of training issue for most people. Though you can get the decocker only version now. And the new 92x Preformance has a frame mounted 1911 style safety.
I use a 92 everyday. Well a M9
Yeah for me I think a manual safety would make me feel more at ease
I only concealed carry my trusty blunderbuss. So I don’t have to worry about a manual safety. It won’t go off unless I prep it for 3 minutes
I kinda cringe when I see people put like 3lbs glock triggers
Teh great thing about the berretta I like is the rolling block firing pin. Makes it super safe.
Yeah I've also considered a berretta too for my birthday
I would say its a great starter gun for someone to start with.
And knowing that it's a proven pistol/design for armies around the world
Do you like the TLR6
Its only as good as you are. You will hear a lot of horror stories about the Military M9s, but thats because they recieve poor care and are beat to hell by idiots every day.
Yeah I've heard about that
Our M9’s are beat the fuck up
Military M9s being crap but civilian shooters love and adore their 92s
A weird disconnect lol
Mine is a beretta 92f made in 1986, its in near perfect condition and out preforms most other shooters guns. Its all about care.
I haven't shot a beretta 92 yet but I will say I do like the design visually
I couldn't justify the G43, The lost of capacity for a slight reduction in thickness.
Looks sexy with that slide
the slide was designed to prevent over heating, and the wide 180 degree ejection port reduces the likely hood of malfunctions.
I can conceal it under shorts and a tank top, important in south texas haha
I don't have trouble concealing the g19.
I'm not a big guy either so the wider fund print a lot easier
Wider gun*
Also the mag extensions give a +2 so it's not all bad
I'd go as far to say I'm more of a beretta guy than a 1911 guy tbh
Haven't shot either yet but I tend to lean more on the beretta more as of now
But you don’t look iconic if you aren’t shooting a 1911
It’s all about that aesthetic
I am not a big guy and can easily conceal my full size guns. I usually see that um....thicker, guys tend to have concealment issues.
