Those

2019-12-29 00:03:22 UTC

Glock is just weird.

2019-12-29 00:03:43 UTC

What do you all of you think of DA/SA pistols?

2019-12-29 00:03:50 UTC

Think it's better than a manual safety?

2019-12-29 00:04:36 UTC

No. nothing is better than a good manual safety. DA/SA with a manual safety is a seriously good combination though.

2019-12-29 00:05:16 UTC

I personally don’t care for manual safety’s on handguns. Although it’s not like I wouldn’t get a handgun with one. Like my FNX Tac

2019-12-29 00:05:35 UTC

I know people bitched about the safety on the beretta 92s

2019-12-29 00:05:41 UTC

Due to it being mounted on the slide

2019-12-29 00:05:51 UTC

Although ironically it was requested to be mounted there

2019-12-29 00:06:35 UTC

Yeah, I never had an issue with it and it was more of training issue for most people. Though you can get the decocker only version now. And the new 92x Preformance has a frame mounted 1911 style safety.

2019-12-29 00:06:35 UTC

I use a 92 everyday. Well a M9

2019-12-29 00:08:01 UTC

Yeah for me I think a manual safety would make me feel more at ease

2019-12-29 00:08:25 UTC

I only concealed carry my trusty blunderbuss. So I don’t have to worry about a manual safety. It won’t go off unless I prep it for 3 minutes

2019-12-29 00:08:32 UTC

I kinda cringe when I see people put like 3lbs glock triggers

2019-12-29 00:08:38 UTC

Teh great thing about the berretta I like is the rolling block firing pin. Makes it super safe.

2019-12-29 00:09:36 UTC

Yeah I've also considered a berretta too for my birthday

2019-12-29 00:10:01 UTC

I would say its a great starter gun for someone to start with.

2019-12-29 00:10:27 UTC

And knowing that it's a proven pistol/design for armies around the world

2019-12-29 00:10:29 UTC

Do you like the TLR6

2019-12-29 00:10:55 UTC

Yes, nice light. Haven't really messed with the laser honestly

2019-12-29 00:11:30 UTC

Its only as good as you are. You will hear a lot of horror stories about the Military M9s, but thats because they recieve poor care and are beat to hell by idiots every day.

2019-12-29 00:11:44 UTC

Yeah I've heard about that

2019-12-29 00:11:58 UTC

Our M9’s are beat the fuck up

2019-12-29 00:12:00 UTC

Military M9s being crap but civilian shooters love and adore their 92s

2019-12-29 00:12:16 UTC

A weird disconnect lol

2019-12-29 00:12:56 UTC

Mine is a beretta 92f made in 1986, its in near perfect condition and out preforms most other shooters guns. Its all about care.

2019-12-29 00:14:28 UTC

I haven't shot a beretta 92 yet but I will say I do like the design visually

2019-12-29 00:14:32 UTC

I couldn't justify the G43, The lost of capacity for a slight reduction in thickness.

2019-12-29 00:14:40 UTC

Looks sexy with that slide

2019-12-29 00:15:45 UTC

the slide was designed to prevent over heating, and the wide 180 degree ejection port reduces the likely hood of malfunctions.

2019-12-29 00:15:50 UTC

I can conceal it under shorts and a tank top, important in south texas haha

2019-12-29 00:16:18 UTC

I don't have trouble concealing the g19.

2019-12-29 00:16:26 UTC

I'm not a big guy either so the wider fund print a lot easier

2019-12-29 00:16:37 UTC

Wider gun*

2019-12-29 00:17:21 UTC

Also the mag extensions give a +2 so it's not all bad

2019-12-29 00:17:31 UTC

I'd go as far to say I'm more of a beretta guy than a 1911 guy tbh

2019-12-29 00:17:47 UTC

Haven't shot either yet but I tend to lean more on the beretta more as of now

2019-12-29 00:17:56 UTC

But you don’t look iconic if you aren’t shooting a 1911

2019-12-29 00:18:02 UTC

It’s all about that aesthetic

2019-12-29 00:18:07 UTC

I am not a big guy and can easily conceal my full size guns. I usually see that um....thicker, guys tend to have concealment issues.
