Basically the way things are headed, especially in Virginia, the Democrats have come up with laws such as “Red flag laws”, their original intent was to “flag” people that you think are mentally unstable the own any sort of weapon. The 2 main problems is one, it allows your neighbors to fuck up your whole life if they don’t like you, second it violates most of the laws in our constitution drafted almost 300 years ago after the American Revolution. The thing is us gun owners have been putting up with more and more restrictive (and seemingly) idiotic gun laws that restrict lawful gun owners who do their best to abide by the law. Meanwhile any criminal can get an unregistered weapon off the dark web and go to a gun free zone and cause mass casualties. One perfect event is the choosing at a church in Texas where a guy pulled a shotgun out and killed 2 people before a member of the church hit him with one shot to the head with his pistol saving countless other lives.
The boogaloo/big igloo is a funny name given to the libertarians that are pretty much fed up with what’s going on with the government getting too big for their britches and the democrats taking over more and more, controlling and trying to limit freedoms and rights we’ve had since this country was formed. Freedoms and rights veterans, active duty and such have fought and died for to protect. As allowed by the constitution, people have begun to form militias composed of everyday citizens to veterans. To stand up to the government and the direction it’s headed by arming themselves in preparation for another revolution if it comes down to it. Virginia snd what’s going on inside is a prime example. Armed militias have Virginia and its governor the middle finger by showing up to the protest armed and to make a point.
TL;DR - the Boogaloo is basically the American Revolution 2.0
