ok il listen now
take a listen to my shit
just the last 3 songs actually
okay i will
ok will do
Yeah youd really do well with a DAW
nice little riffs u pull
I instinctively wanna chop the riffs out and loop em
god u certainly listened to YES didnt u
tell me im right lol
well im not actually that big of a yes fan
im more of a genesis, van der graaf generator, gong, soft machine, elp, king crimson person
thats just cuz i dont really listen to yes
and as for your song
it was pretty good
not much else i can say except for that the beginning felt like the song was a continuation of some superfluous dark side-esque epic
and i liked the 2001 visuals
haha well spotted
yeah if u look at my channel
i change genre a lot
usually depends on what im listening
to at the time
ok im onto ur last track
contrary to the raw nature of my musical projects i have a very specific vision for what i want to make if i get the tools to make it
it is neopsychedelic but also baroque pop
but before i set out to create what is my aesthetic pinnacle
i need to start shit
Yeah i get this stuff is just rough audacity stuff
whatu think of this one
oh well
probably a lot of people named that so whatever
Yeah I wouldnt post if i was worried
what u might notice in my music
is a lot of guitar pedal
tremelo specifically
now im no shoegaze expert but what youre doing is kind of new
because it kind of has an edm inspiration i feel too
or like trance idk
yeah well i make it on a DAW that is primarily used for EDM
so its got a synthy flavour
thats a good observation
if i had effects pedals id probably try a lot harder to learn guitar
yeah definitely makes it more fun
im also fascinated with making an epic song
like one that is sprawling in scale
and like, at least 30 minutes long
like the beardfish song sleeping in traffic
I certainly go for an epic sound when i make stuff
i love making it intense
i like the journey of long songs where i feel like i have been through a war
like suppers ready by genesis
ah yeah
My favorite band for that
