I'm glad that you have established that their is a continuum of what is deem'd masculine vs feminine. However, you must then further acknowledge the fact that such a dichotomy is based in cultural norms, rather than biological ones. Sex is absolutely and scientifically founded in whether or not someone has an xx or xy chromosome. Contrarily, gender is defined as the everyday perception and as being at the whims of arbitrary cultural norms. We do not identify people as to what gender they are in everyday life through their sexual organs (for we can not observe them directly)b, instead, we analyze things like whether or not their hair is long or if they have piercings.
