A 7.62x54R gatling gun is not something I knew I needed until this moment

Old roommate of mine (he's totally new to firearms), he wants to get a 9mm pistol for carry/home defense and is looking to spend between 200-300 dollars total. In total sincerity I told him to look at a Taurus G2C, as that is one of the only 9mms in that price range that's small enough for carry yet still a double stack magazine. Any other thoughts in that price range that could double for carry and home?

Nothing comes to mind right now. But hey, having a budget gun is better than not having a gun
