Ya it's a solid case one of my bois has it

2019-12-21 17:53:59 UTC

Great airflow and easy to cool with a few fans

2019-12-21 17:54:08 UTC

And has dust filters which are nice

2019-12-21 17:54:13 UTC

Case stays clean

2019-12-21 17:59:51 UTC

yeah, one of my top choices for a case, was just thinking of the H18 because of how cheap it is

2019-12-22 03:25:40 UTC

getting new parts on the 27th

2019-12-22 03:26:08 UTC

ryzen 3 2200g and 16gb ddr4 corsair vengence

2019-12-22 03:32:27 UTC

are you going with a small form factor pc?

2019-12-22 03:32:59 UTC

what are you gonna use it for? just regular office stuff?

2019-12-23 17:08:06 UTC

Boice

2019-12-23 17:18:04 UTC

Ye thanks mang

2019-12-30 00:24:39 UTC

so my PC is a prebuilt from HP and it has a 240w psu, is it possible that the gpu is undervolted, which is why it doesn't perform as good as it should?

2019-12-30 01:55:21 UTC

What's your GPU?

2019-12-30 02:00:14 UTC

@«Hellhound» gtx1050ti

2019-12-30 02:00:45 UTC

Hmm

2019-12-30 02:00:51 UTC

I think 240 is too low

2019-12-30 02:01:26 UTC

300 is minimum wattage required

2019-12-30 02:01:47 UTC

so better upgrade to a 550 or a 450 if you plan on going lower end

2019-12-30 02:02:37 UTC

Problem with HP is most likely using a proprietary 24 pin ATX connector

2019-12-30 02:03:16 UTC

also, does your 1050ti have a 6 pin PCIE connector?

2019-12-30 02:04:20 UTC

I haven't checked tbh, I'll take a look after I'm done updating some stuff

2019-12-30 02:04:33 UTC

also, whats your full system specs?

2019-12-30 02:04:38 UTC

I ended up ordering a new motherboard already tho

2019-12-30 02:04:49 UTC

whatcha going with?

2019-12-30 02:05:04 UTC

lemme list out my current specs first

2019-12-30 02:05:10 UTC

Yeah, most likely that Prebuilt HP PSU isnt gonna fit your new MB

2019-12-30 02:05:35 UTC

I already ordered a cx550m from corsair

2019-12-30 02:06:02 UTC

Those units tend to be hit or miss

2019-12-30 02:06:21 UTC

but, if yours turn out to be good, then its a good PSU

2019-12-30 02:06:34 UTC

I think there was a bad batch or something

2019-12-30 02:06:56 UTC

i5 2500 3.3ghz
gtx 1050 ti
16gb ddr3 ram
512gb ssd
2tb hdd
an optical drive
some sort of proprietary motherboard

2019-12-30 02:06:57 UTC

But i doubt you're going to push it to its maximum rating anyways

2019-12-30 02:07:28 UTC

yeah, I placed all my parts in a psu calculator, and it said I only needed 360w

2019-12-30 02:07:46 UTC

also this case is horrible, only has a single 60mm fan

2019-12-30 02:07:53 UTC

Just keep in mind Intel calculates its power usage at idle

2019-12-30 02:08:01 UTC

yeah

2019-12-30 02:08:03 UTC

AMD calculates at load iirc

2019-12-30 02:08:29 UTC

I'll probably end up getting a better psu later on and place this one in a lower end build for my sister

2019-12-30 02:08:53 UTC

2500 is still an ok CPU, moderate to light gaming of older titles

2019-12-30 02:09:07 UTC

yeah, I only play 2 games at most anyways
