Like, the issue is as an American, I have AR, AK, Vz58, etc. I know one pouch wont "do it all" but a system can. So I was leaning towards smersh with AK mag pouches and have AS Val pouches as reserve pouches for AR use.

But if as val pouches wont work.... I guess I could just use regular OD m16 mag pouches on the smersh belt

I mean go for practicality over aesthetics. If you have to mix n match so be it

@thedarkness05 of course. I'll see what I can come up with. Been using 1956 H suspenders on an HSGI molle belt with mixed alice and molle pouches. It works ok. But I'm needing a beefier belt, not a range belt

smersh belt is thic af and wont do job with alice well

LBE and webbing work great for weight dispersal and all that, but I'll keep to my plate carriers n vests because of the armor capabilities

yeah but the gola is to not get hit in first place with webbing and lbe are more like cheep way to say" ok we have old and bulky af vest that are cheep but to keep em that way you will get lbe ivan"

I know the debate on speed/armor/firepower. All the same I cant outrun or dodge a bullet, so I'll opt for the plates

i prefer vest that i can dump and carry mags and belt with rest of mags ifak and survival gear

@thedarkness05 lbe can go over vest. Or low pro suspenders, go under. Some kit now has QD on the bottom of plate carriers for belts to hang on
