Here you can see overlapping sectors of fire, the sectors of fire overlap fir security but the 15/40 rule applies here. (15degrees off of friends bipod/tripod, 40degrees for free weapons)

2019-08-30 16:15:28 UTC

When patrolling in a wedge the #4 man checks the rear security.

2019-08-30 16:15:50 UTC

Ill stop here for now till i get some feedback

2019-08-30 16:58:05 UTC

I have some instructions on tracking in the African bush I’ll post

2019-08-30 16:58:29 UTC

But is that something you can actually discuss

2019-08-30 16:58:56 UTC

Thats kinda what im going for here not just a flow of information but useable shit to the un informed.

2019-08-30 16:59:26 UTC

Next thing up is a breakdown of bounding and stuff (think heat)

2019-08-30 17:29:24 UTC

The RHODIE shit is outdated bullshit

2019-08-30 17:30:26 UTC

Like don't get me wrong. It was highspeed in the day, but outdated now

2019-08-30 17:36:09 UTC

It's okay, it'll be relevant again very soon

2019-08-30 17:46:22 UTC

I gotta at least get through basic troop manuvering. Once we get past how to move we branch out as long as its relevant.

2019-08-30 17:47:06 UTC

Ill teach classes on clearing rooms/bldgs, patrolling, patrol bases, op/ hides.

2019-08-30 20:12:17 UTC

It’s not rhodie it’s SADF and it’s useful tracking skills not really tactics

2019-08-30 20:15:01 UTC

Stay focused class discuss the material provided.

2019-08-30 20:53:45 UTC

Ok sure thing

2019-08-30 20:54:51 UTC

Does anyone have questions on the formations?

2019-08-30 20:55:10 UTC

Also know that terrain can affect these

2019-08-30 20:55:50 UTC

As well as mettc
Mission enemy time terrain civilian consideration

2019-08-30 20:56:25 UTC

What formation is suggested for patrolling mountains such as the Appalachians

2019-08-30 21:09:14 UTC

Prob file

2019-08-30 21:10:20 UTC

Just make sure yall have a 10m spacing and noone is perfectly on line

2019-08-30 21:12:48 UTC

This is what I’m talking ab

2019-08-30 21:13:11 UTC

I kinda have no idea what im lookinnat

2019-08-30 21:13:12 UTC

I took this it’s a 45 min climb to the bottom

2019-08-30 21:13:19 UTC

Looks like mars rover took the photo

2019-08-30 21:13:19 UTC

Terrain

2019-08-30 21:13:49 UTC

It’s a chirt pit I see as the perfect strongpoint

2019-08-30 21:14:21 UTC

Clear on all sides for ab 200m

2019-08-30 21:15:17 UTC

Be a great place for machineguns that 200m means noone is running up on ya too quick

2019-08-30 21:15:56 UTC

But unless you have like 30 dudes and support its bad

2019-08-30 21:16:19 UTC

Lemme grab some google earth imagines images to show u the scale I understand there is a manpower problem

2019-08-30 21:16:38 UTC

Thats why most of what ima go iver will be at the team level

2019-08-30 21:17:09 UTC

Low intensity warfare right

2019-08-30 21:17:17 UTC

Like maybe if your men were really proficient yoy could be 2 2 man teams but otherwise having 3dudes under 1 competent guy is best

2019-08-30 21:18:40 UTC

I see

2019-08-30 21:19:11 UTC

We cant even run a traditional fire team because no saws

2019-08-30 21:19:23 UTC

I have ab 4 or 5 people I know near me how would be willing to fight in shtf situation

2019-08-30 21:19:40 UTC

But the thing is you need to train NOW

2019-08-30 21:19:43 UTC

Only one has SBRs and suppressors
