But I think it's just personal preference

2019-08-04 20:47:33 UTC

I want reliability is all

2019-08-04 20:47:51 UTC

Just don't buy a Chinese AK and you'll be fine xD

2019-08-04 20:48:10 UTC

And even Polytech AKs are improving in quality although I'd never recommend one

2019-08-04 20:48:51 UTC

You can't go wrong with a Romanian or Yugo AK, especially for price. Authentic Russian is expensive but worth it

2019-08-04 20:50:12 UTC

Hmmmmm ok

2019-08-04 20:50:35 UTC

Also

2019-08-04 20:50:44 UTC

And this is gonna sound sinful for saying but hear me out

2019-08-04 20:51:17 UTC

Century IMPORT AKs are fine so long as they're made of imported parts kits

2019-08-04 20:51:28 UTC

If it has century parts, you may wanna replace em

2019-08-04 20:53:18 UTC

I'm gonna make a trip to my usual gun store to look at their AKs again, they had some nice polymer composite furniture ones

2019-08-04 20:54:42 UTC

I can give you guys recommendations then

2019-08-04 20:56:35 UTC

Your other option, which I don't recommend unless you have money to throw around and time to spare, is to build your own AK

2019-08-04 20:56:53 UTC

If you do, it's great fun and very satisfying, but it ain't like building ARs

2019-08-04 20:59:30 UTC

Ive never built an ar or ak or anything, i just dissasembe and reassemble my shotgun and 9mm

2019-08-04 21:00:45 UTC

ARs are way easier to build because you can buy parts kits and they go together relatively easily. AKs on the other hand require significant investment in tools needs to build one, including a 12 ton press. That's why building AKs is way more expensive

2019-08-04 21:01:27 UTC

Eventually I need to get myself a polymer AK with picatinny rails

2019-08-04 21:05:04 UTC

Real question, why don’t people use higher capacity magazines for HD? Like larger than 30. Is it just impractical?

2019-08-04 21:39:40 UTC

Weight could be a factor

2019-08-04 21:43:04 UTC

That’s probably true, but if I’m not going to be carrying the rifle for more than a few minutes what’s a pound or two more?

2019-08-04 21:44:28 UTC

I mean, you can, and I'm not gonna say that someone shouldn't but at the same time, my attitude is that if you can't fucking neutralize a home invader with 30 rounds of 5.56 or 7.62, then you don't need more ammo, you need a fucking training course

2019-08-04 21:46:45 UTC

30 can go pretty fast if you’re not careful. But I understand the point.

2019-08-04 21:49:08 UTC

Yeah, like dude, you're in your own home; you have home turf advantage and knowledge of the environment. Chances are it's probably in the middle of the night so it's dark and you can use that to your advantage as well. If you're telling me you can't pull a sneeki breeki on the home invader(s) and put two to the head and one to the chest, then bro, you need training not more ammo

2019-08-04 21:51:17 UTC

Ya I can understand where you’re coming from. I got the fear of running out for some reason.

2019-08-04 22:00:16 UTC

my other social media if you bois are interested

2019-08-04 22:20:19 UTC
