True. It was a present from my brother though, and i love it. My next purchase os gonna he an ar, the cabelas in ky town sells a 308 chambered version and i thinks thats what im gonna buy
Join the AK gang bro
We out here fuckin' chechens
I like ak also, what would you recomend for.more of a "tactical " version, i just wanna add things to one
Same here
Literally just buy an AK with polymer furniture and picatinny rails. If it's made in the old country or post soviet bloc, it's fine. If you want cheap, PSA makes a decent AK even though it's American. I'll send you guys name brands for recommendations asap
Polymer composite furniture is good because it's lightweight but depending on who you ask, some like saying it ain't as good as the old wooden shit
But I think it's just personal preference
I want reliability is all
Just don't buy a Chinese AK and you'll be fine xD
And even Polytech AKs are improving in quality although I'd never recommend one
You can't go wrong with a Romanian or Yugo AK, especially for price. Authentic Russian is expensive but worth it
Hmmmmm ok
Also
And this is gonna sound sinful for saying but hear me out
Century IMPORT AKs are fine so long as they're made of imported parts kits
If it has century parts, you may wanna replace em
I'm gonna make a trip to my usual gun store to look at their AKs again, they had some nice polymer composite furniture ones
I can give you guys recommendations then
Your other option, which I don't recommend unless you have money to throw around and time to spare, is to build your own AK
Ive never built an ar or ak or anything, i just dissasembe and reassemble my shotgun and 9mm
ARs are way easier to build because you can buy parts kits and they go together relatively easily. AKs on the other hand require significant investment in tools needs to build one, including a 12 ton press. That's why building AKs is way more expensive
Eventually I need to get myself a polymer AK with picatinny rails
Imwow

Anyone got PDF’s for spicy playdough and other fun homemade things? I need manuals for Igloo reasons
Same
Post up links to boog manuals.
Real question, why don’t people use higher capacity magazines for HD? Like larger than 30. Is it just impractical?
Weight could be a factor
That’s probably true, but if I’m not going to be carrying the rifle for more than a few minutes what’s a pound or two more?
I mean, you can, and I'm not gonna say that someone shouldn't but at the same time, my attitude is that if you can't fucking neutralize a home invader with 30 rounds of 5.56 or 7.62, then you don't need more ammo, you need a fucking training course
30 can go pretty fast if you’re not careful. But I understand the point.
Yeah, like dude, you're in your own home; you have home turf advantage and knowledge of the environment. Chances are it's probably in the middle of the night so it's dark and you can use that to your advantage as well. If you're telling me you can't pull a sneeki breeki on the home invader(s) and put two to the head and one to the chest, then bro, you need training not more ammo
Ya I can understand where you’re coming from. I got the fear of running out for some reason.
