I will say that insurance is another reason prices are so high as well as red tape

2019-12-20 02:54:03 UTC

I just read a story about the FDA allowing foreign drugs to be imported for the first time

2019-12-20 02:54:11 UTC

@dizzy from what i have read its ledd

2019-12-20 02:54:12 UTC

2019-12-20 02:54:20 UTC

2019-12-20 02:54:23 UTC

Might vary by state

2019-12-20 02:54:55 UTC

Though tbf not sure how I feel about a nation filled with sjws making drugs for America

Trump Proposes ‘Historic’ Rule to Allow Price Reductions on Drug Imports https://www.theepochtimes.com/trump-proposes-historic-rule-to-allow-price-reductions-on-drug-imports_3178363.html

2019-12-20 02:54:59 UTC

Well if the insurance companies would stop giving them blank checks it might fix itself

2019-12-20 02:55:09 UTC

Also, they make you hop around to various specialists just to get basic tests done

2019-12-20 02:55:20 UTC

Paying each their fees along the way

2019-12-20 02:55:52 UTC

@dizzy that might be a licensing problem

2019-12-20 02:56:03 UTC

sounds probable

2019-12-20 02:56:16 UTC

Nah its a red tape problem and a lawsuit problem

2019-12-20 02:57:55 UTC

My mother had a test done called a tilt-table test. They set you on mechanical table and tilt your body up and down for the procedure, takes like 20 minutes. Eight hundred dollars.

2019-12-20 02:58:07 UTC

Lord

2019-12-20 02:58:36 UTC

$800 through insurance, or $800 direct?

2019-12-20 02:58:43 UTC

cash pay

2019-12-20 02:58:55 UTC

we have a thing where we get reimbursed, but we have to pay up front

2019-12-20 02:58:57 UTC

Most providers give you a break if you pay directly

2019-12-20 02:59:08 UTC

Yea thats shitty insurance

2019-12-20 02:59:21 UTC

It was supposed to be $1100 on their payment plan lol

2019-12-20 02:59:31 UTC

Makes sense

2019-12-20 02:59:49 UTC

You see that same thing with government subcontractors as well

2019-12-20 03:00:41 UTC

The gov just sucks

2019-12-20 03:00:58 UTC

2019-12-20 03:03:31 UTC

I'm going to love the 2024 presidential election

2019-12-20 03:03:49 UTC

If Trump ends up getting the drug market fixed

2019-12-20 03:05:07 UTC

Repubs will be putting up charts, saying, "oh hey, looks like the free market without choking regulation is actually working"

2019-12-20 03:05:13 UTC

2024 will be interesting

2019-12-20 03:05:27 UTC

If trump is pres again that is

2019-12-20 03:05:38 UTC

He most likely will be

2019-12-20 03:05:51 UTC

Highly likely, but no guarantee

2019-12-20 03:05:59 UTC

No, never guaranteed

2019-12-20 03:06:23 UTC

In any case wonder who the candidates would be for 2024 since trump would be out permanently

2019-12-20 03:06:44 UTC

The establishments of the left hopefully burned to ash by then as well

2019-12-20 03:07:06 UTC

Hard to say who might be up there

2019-12-20 03:07:25 UTC

Trump v Hillary 2: electoral boogaloo

2019-12-20 03:07:41 UTC

Jeb

2019-12-20 03:07:56 UTC

It seems like a lot of the Gen-Xers don't have a desire to stick around in politics forever

2019-12-20 03:09:05 UTC

Not too educated with gen x
