actually it doesnt. The big bang simply describes the evolution of the universe

it says nothign about where it came from

There is no logical explanation to how the big bang could've happened when nothing exists

m theory is a bit wacky, and I don't know much about it. Loop quantum gravity states that singularities do not exist, and there is a smallest increment of spacetime (in other words, they are quantized and not a continuum).
